Miroslava Jarošová

Biography

Studied Academy of Performing Arts with professors L.Löbl and N.Kniplová and graduated with professor J.Jindrák. Already during her studies she sang in the Smetana Theatre (later the Prague State Opera) choir. In October 1993 she participated in the Festival of Czech Culture in London (Dvořák’s Moravian duets with Alice Randová). She has been a National Theatre soloist since 1993, before then she performed in the Prague State Opera. In the National Theatre she studied for example Martinka in The Kiss, Third Nymph in Rusalka, Radmila in Libuše, Mercedes in Carmen, Pavlína and Dafnis in The Queen of Spades, Maddalena in Rigoletto, Háta in The Bartered Bride, Third Lady in The Magic Flute, Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro and Witch in Macbeth. She performs at concerts at home and abroad, most frequently in Italy.
