Evgeniya Victory Gonzalez
Demisoloist of The Czech National Ballet
Evgeniya was born in Saint Petersburg in Russia. She graduated from the Royal Swedish Ballet School in 2015. While still a student, she appeared in numerous performances at the Royal Swedish Opera.
From 2015 to 2018, she danced at the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. In 2018 and 2019, she was a member of the Bayerisches Staatsballett. In the 2019/20 season, she was engaged as a demi-soloist at the Czech National Ballet in Prague.
In 2015, she launched her professional career. Audiences could see her as a Big Swan in Swan Lake (M. Petipa, L. Ivanov, K. Sergeyev), the Queen of the Dryads in Don Quixote (Gorsky), Mona and Zulma in Giselle (J. Coralli, J. Perrot, M. Petipa), in the Grand pas in Raymonda (M. Petipa, K. Sergeyev), as the Nymph and Waltz in The Sleeping Beauty (M. Haydée), the Spanish Dance in The Nutcracker (J. Neumeier), Gamzatti in La Bayadère (M. Petipa, V. Ponomarev, V. Chabukiani) and many more.
She has also danced in modern ballet productions, including in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (C. Wheeldon), Gnosis (H. Hjálmarsdottír) and Labyrinth (K. Zvereva).
In 2014, she received first prize at the Jeune Ballet Mediterranean in Grasse and third prize at the Nordic Baltic Ballet Competition in Sweden.
Evgeniya has performed at prestigious ballet galas – the Russian Master Stars (2018, 2019), the Veterans Aid Charity in London (2018) and the Ballet Summer Estonia Gala (2019).
