Born in Toronto, Daniel Leger studied at Canada’s National Ballet School under Mavis Staines. After graduating, he worked with the Ballett Dortmund, dancing in Jacopo Godani, Demis Volpi and Craig Davidson productions. In 2019, he joined the Czech National Ballet, where he has performed in classical repertoire pieces, including The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Onegin and Romeo and Juliet, as well as in the contemporary choreographies Eden ǀ Eden (Wayne McGregor), Bill (Sharon Eyal) and Handman (Edward Clug).
