Lívia Obručník Vénosová
Lívia Vénosová hails from Košice in Slovakia. At primary art school she studied singing, flute and piano (1989-2001). At the present time she is in her 4th year at the Prague Conservatoire in the class of Professor Brigita Šulcová. She has achieved success in a number of singing competitions. In 2003 she won second place in the Mozart Competition of Conservatoires, first place in the Imrich Godin - Vráble International Competition, an honourable mention in the Antonín Dvořák’s International Competition in Karlovy Vary, as well as the Karlovy Vary Theatre Award, owing to which she prepared the role of Marcelina in Le Nozze di Figaro for this stage. In 2004 she was placed third in the M. Schneider-Trnavský International Competition with the Galerie MIRO prize, first in Karlovy Vary in the category of song interpretation, together with the prize of the Karlovy Vary Region Administrator, and first in the Czech Conservatoires Competition in Pardubice.
