The Little Mermaid is here!

The world premiere: November 10 at the Estates Theatre.

"Far away, at the very bottom of the ocean, which no anchor can reach and no human eye can see, is the home of marine beings. Dolphins, mermaids, the Sea King, his old mother and his daughter, the Little Mermaid."

The new ballet production, based on Hans Christian Andersen’s famed fairy tale and to music by the Czech composer Zbyněk Matějů, delivered by the National Theatre Orchestra, will be choreographed by Jan Kodet and directed by the acclaimed SKUTR tandem (Martin Kukučka and Lukáš Trpišovský). The performance, abounding in poetic dance scenes, is intended not only for parents and children but for everyone who loves this immortal story.
