Svetlana Zakharova - Giselle!

SINGULARITY – BEAUTY – PERFECTION – MASTERY Only two performances will take place: on 15 and 17 May at the State Opera.

The Czech National Ballet has prepared the Event of the Season for all ballet-lovers.

Svetlana Zakharova, prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre, will be appearing in Prague for the very first time, in the titular role of the Romantic ballet Giselle.

Performing opposite Svetlana Zakharova will be Friedemann Vogel, principal dancer of the Stuttgarter Ballet, who will portray Count Albert.  The other roles will be danced by the Czech National Ballet soloists and corps. The State Opera Orchestra will be playing under the baton of Alexey Bogorad, conductor of the Bolshoi Theatre.
