Kateřina Winterová

Kateřina studied acting at Prague Conservatory. She appearead as a guest in a several prague theatres and she was a freelancer for two years after her graduation (1996 – 1998). National Theatre engaged her in 1998. There are lot of interesting roles in her portfolio, e.g. Frida Foldal in Ibsen’s “John Gabriel Borkman”, Héró in Shakespeare’s “Much Ado about nothing”, Ofelie in “Hamlet” and Juliett in “Romeo and Juliett”, Aglaya in Dostoyevskiy’s “The Idiot”, Rebecca in Martin Crimp’s “Country” or Nora in “What Happened after Nora Left Her Husband“ by Elfriede Jelinek. She is a lead singer of a famous music project “The Ecstasy of Saint Theresa”, their album “Watching Black” was awarded by “Anděl” awards (Czech version of Grammy awards)
