Born in Naples, Italy, where he began his ballet training at the Lyceum Mara Fusco. After gaining a scholarship, he moved to Lausanne to study at the Ecole-Atelier Rudra-Bejart. As a student, he performed in several Bejart Ballet Lausanne productions, including The Rite of Spring, Bolero and 7 Danses Greques.
In 2004 he was engaged by the Teatro alla Scala in Milan under the artistic direction of Frederic Olivieri. He danced in Spoerli’s new creation for the Scala’s reopening “Europa Riconosciuta”, as well as in all the company’s classical productions.
In 2005 he joined the European Ballet in London (artistic director: Stanislav Tchossov). He went on to dance the White Swan Pas de Deux in Act 2 of Swan Lake, the Pas de deux in Fokine’s Chopiniana and the role of the Ballet Master in Tchossov’s Cinderella, touring all over the UK.
In 2006 he joined the Opera National de Bordeaux (artistic director: Charles Jude). His classical repertoire included Jude’s Don Quixote, Giselle, Coppelia, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet and the Arabian and Russian Dances in The Nutcracker. He also appeared in neoclassical titles such as Forsythe’s In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated, Kylián’s Click – Pose - Silence, Balanchine’s The Prodigal Son, Massine’s The Rite of Spring, Malandain’s Valse, Kuneš’s Temporary Condition and Wainrot’s Le Messie. With the Opera National de Bordeaux he toured Europe.
In 2011 he joined the Ballet de l’Opera de Nice (artistic director: Eric Vu-An). Originally engaged as a corps de ballet member, he was named demi-soloist in July 2012. In Nice he portrayed the lead roles in Balanchine’s La Chaconne and Allegro Brillante, the role of Zeus in Kelly’s Pas de Dieux, the Pas de Trois in Lifar’s Suite en Blanc, Jean de Brienne in the Grand Pas Classique of Vu-An’s Raymonda and the Pas de Trois in Tetley’s Voluntaries. He also featured in Child’s Oceana, dancing the first duet, and appeared in Duato’s Por Vos Muero and Gnawa, and Bejart’s Cantate 51.
He has been a Czech National Ballet demi-soloist since September 2013.
