Stefan Heidemann

Stefan Heidemann, awarded the honour of Chamber Singer, was engaged with the Staatsoper in Hanover and later on in Nuremberg. He also appeared as a guest in Saarbrücken, Wiesbaden, Mannheim, Graz, Luxembourg, Vienna, Granada, Tokyo, as well as on all three Berlin opera stages. Since 1990, singing for Deutsche Oper am Rhein, he has celebrated success as Papageno (Die Zauberflöte), the Forester (The Cunning Little Vixen), Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Ford (Falstaff), Wolfram (Tannhäuser), Gunther (Götterdämmerung) Escamillo (Carmen), Alfio (Cavalleria Rusticana) Orestes (Elektra) and Beckmesser (Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg). Stefan Heidemann has collaborated with renowned conductors and stage directors, among them Harry Kupfer, August Everding, Andreas Homoki, Sir Colin Davis and Christian Thielemann.
