Biography

Fashion designer, stylist, and costume designer. He has designed costumes for a number of theatre productions, including Dostoyevsky’s Demons at the Teatr Polski in Wrocław, Marcin Cecko‘s The Death Star directed by Krzysztof Garbaczewski at the Teatr Dramatyczny in Wałbrzych, The Pelican, or Farewell to Meat directed by Natalia Korczakowska at the Teatr Współczesny in Szczecin and Dziady III at the Teatr Dramatyczny in Białystok. He worked on Magdalena Cielecka’s image for Psychosis 4.48 based on Sarah Kane, a production directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna at TR Warszaw. His output is not limited to working with costumes, he also presents it in photographs and collages. He showed these works at the Nova Polska exhibition in Lille, France, in 2004 and at the Inspirations Festival of Visual Arts in Szczecin in 2010. In 2004, the Swedish brand Absolut invited him to create a limited edition of T-shirts with nine other avant-garde fashion designers from different countries. Together with stage director Mariusz Treliński and set designer Boris Kudlička he has cooperated on several opera performances at the Polish National Opera in Warszaw (Iolanta, Bluebeard's Castle) and at the Welsh National Opera (Boulevard Solitude).
