Biography

Education
1979–1983, National Theatre School of Denmark, set and costume design Based in Copenhagen and working at the National Theatres in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Made her first set design in 1984 in Copenhagen. Has participated in classical drama, opera and ballet productions in collaboration with the leading directors in Denmark.

Productions include

1998 Richard III, 2001 Twelfth Night, Shakespeare – Copenhagen

2001 The School for Husbands, Moliere – Royal Theatre of Sweden

2003 I-K-O-N, John Frandsen – Royal Danish Opera

2005 Hotel Strindberg – National Theatre Oslo

2006 Tosca, Puccini – New Royal Opera, Copenhagen

She made her first Bournonville ballet, The King’s Volunteers on Amager, in 2004 at the Royal Danish Ballet. In 2007 there followed The Nutcracker in a new and modern version – praised for the visual

qualities of the sets and the elegance and splendour of the costumes – the first production with the choreographer Kenneth Greve. They continued their inspiring work with Swan Lake.
