Biography

Graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk State Drama College as an Actor of the Musical Theatre. In 1995-1997 he was engaged by the Odessa Theatre of Musical Comedy (Ukraine). In 1997-2000 he worked in the Ural Municipal Theatre of Operetta (Novouralsk, Russia). Since 2004 he has been the soloist of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of Belarus. His repertoire includes Vaudemont (Iolanta), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Rodolfo (La Bohème), Don José (Carmen), Beppe (Donizetti’s Rita), Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi), Kaschey (Rimsky-Korsakov’s Kashchey the Immortal ), Cavaradossi (Tosca), Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto), Radames (Aida), The Young Gypsy (Rachmaninov’s Aleko), the tenor part in Mozart’s Requiem. With the Belarus Opera Company he toured to Thailand, Germany, Hungary, North Korea. In 2009 he sang Don José in the co-production of Carmen by the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theatre and Supierz Music Production. In 2010 he toured with the Ukraine National Opera to Japan, again singing Don José. In 2011 he made his debut at the Bolshoi Theatre as Count Vaudemont (Iolanta). In 2012 he took part in the production of The Enchantress, singing the part of Prince Yuri (conductor Alexander Lazarev, director Alexander Titel). In 2014 he performed the role of Pretender (Boris Godunov).
