Swedish tenor, born and raised in Uppsala, who quickly established himselves at the Swedish opera stages. He studied singing with among others Christer Solén, Hans Dornbusch, Solvieg Ågren, Björn Blomqvist. Daniel made his operatic debut in 2009 as John Sorel in Gian Carlo Menotti's The Consul at Folkoperan in Stockholm. 2010 Daniel received two scholarships. "Folkoperans friends soloist scholarship" with motivation "Daniel Frank awarded the scholarship for his participation in the Pearl Fishers (Nourabad) and the Silver Lake (Severin), two diametrically opposed sets and works, where he showed a powerful range from singing to acting." and "Uppsala Municipality's cultural achievements" on the ground "For his mature vocal art and stage portrayals on the opera stage, not least in the past performances "Pearl Fishers" and "Silver Lake" on Folk Opera in Stockholm." In 2010 Daniel made a transition from baritone to Helden tenor although he, for a while, continued to perform baritone parts, such as Fernando Villa Bella in The thieving magpie and Valentin in Faust. 2012 Daniel received two scholarships. "The Birgit Nilsson Scholarship" and Masonic Scholarship: "The Nordic First St. Johannis loge Jubelfond". 2013 Daniel also recieved a scholarship. "The Royal operas friend's Richard Brodin Scholarship".
