Adeline Caron

Biography

Born in 1975, in 2000 she graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. She subsequently worked as an assistant to the designer Renato Bianchi and the stage directors Piotr Fomenko and Marcel Bozonnet, with whom she collaborated on, for example, Racine’s drama Esther and Jan Fabre’s play Corps, mon gentil corps at Comédie-Française. With the set designer Goury she co-operated on several productions directed by Philippe Adrien at Théâtre de la Tempete (Le Malade Imaginaire, Cadavres Exquis, Don Quichotte). As an independent set designer she has collaborated with Marcel Bozonnet on Elfriede Jelinek’s Jackie at Théâtre du Rond-Point des Champs-Elysées, on P. P. Pasolini’s Orgie at Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier, with Benjamin Lazar on Lully and Moliere’s comedy-ballet Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme and Lully’s opera Cadmus et Hermione with the ensemble Le Poeme Harmonique, Purcell’s opera Dido and Aeneas, on the production of L'Autre Monde ou les Etats et empires de la Lune after Rostand’s Cyrano de Bergerac for Ruedutheatre and Stefan Landi’s opera Il Sant’Alessio with Les Arts Florissants for the Opera of Théâtre de Caen.
