Pavel Svoboda
Pavel Svoboda was born in 1975. He studied graphic design at the Private Master School of Artistic Design, and set design at the Drama Department of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. In 2006 he completed his studies of photography at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, in the studio of Ivan Pinkava. He is a founder and member of the free designers group Aluminium and the photography edition Spirala.
Since 2000, when they first met while working on the song cycles Severní noci (Northern Nights), he has collaborated with Jiří Heřman on his productions. Set design is for him a way of autonomous thinking encompassing theatre too.
